    Hi Hania,
I loved the music you did for Tar Boy (as I’m sure everyone did). I’m working on an Indy game right now and just wanted to know what your rates are per project. Thanks a lot for your time and keep up the great work.

    Kyle

Hi Hania – absolutely loved your (and your fellas) work on Tarboy. I’m moving from the UK to Melbourne in June so let me know if you need any mixing, mastering or general assistance on any of your up and coming projects.

Drop me an Email if you (or James) fancies a chat (jenkcole@hotmail.com)

    Cheers!

    Hey there!

I love your musical style. The first song of yours I heard was “Our Invaders” and I thought, “wow, this girl has a really sweet voice but there is such a dark undertone to this song!” Anyway, you have many songs that I think are absolutely beautiful. Are you going to post any more on your website? If not, where can I download more?

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Hania says:

    Hey Jason,
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I’ll be posting more music up on my site in the near future. At the moment you can download the whole Tarboy OST and the Bonus Tracks album for free at “My Store” and the Cuddle Punch album is also available there for download. :)

  7. Jake says:

    Hello Hania,
I love your work! The Tarboy OST is easily my favorite album (especially “Two’s a Party” and “Melting Tarboy”). I want to get more into composing and I was wondering what you use when you’re composing the soundtrack to Tarboy(2)?

  8. Nick says:

    Hey Hania,

I, like Kyle, am also very interested in what your rates are for composing. I am developing a film currently and I am absolutely blown away by your work. If you could respond that would be great!

  9. Jason says:

Thanks Hania, for your response to my last post.

I just discovered your Newgrounds page and am enjoying the music that is posted there. Your sound is great, and I feel like it matches and inspires my own style. However, I am still just a budding musician and have a LONG way to go. lol

Here’s to a bright future for you, and hopefully an outlet for creative expression for me!

your athor works are also great

  11. Hania says:

Hey Mark, unfortunately I don’t have sheet music for any of my work. Sorry I can’t help you out in this at the moment. Thanks for taking an interest in my music :)

    Hello Hania,
I’m a jazz drummer from Poland (were your parents Polish, perhaps? Hania is a popular Polish name), sometimes in my free time I like to check out flash games on sites like newgrounds. I liked the “Alice is dead” series very much (I’m a fan of Caroll’s books as well), but the club song you did in the third part was absolutely stunning. Fantastic singing, you’ve got a fantastic warm voice. I stopped the game at that part for about ten minutes just to listen to the song again and again, before I actually looked up who was singing it.

It’s a funny thing that there are talented and interesting artists that you stumble upon thanks to little, meaningless things like flash games on the internet.

I’ll be sure to check out your further work.

    Best regards from Poland,
    Mateusz

    Hi!
I just watched 24 in 24 at deviantart and I LOVE the music especially part 8. Is this available as a whole song? Would be too great…

And another question, how do you make those orchestra-sounds? They just sound like real orchestra…

Keep up your great work and good luck for your future projects!

  14. Hania says:

Hi Veronika! I haven’t created a longer version of #8 because I was under a time deadline that day and just haven’t gotten around to opening up that file again since the 24 in 24 challenge. The orchestra sounds are actually a plugin called ‘EWQL Symphonic Orchestra’. Glad you like the music! :)

  15. Hania says:

    Hey Mateusz!
Yes my parents are Polish. :)
I’m really glad that my music has reached the ears of a person in Poland!! Really happy that you like it!

    Cheers,
    -hania

  16. Joshcri says:

A lot of friends of mine and I, are throughly enjoying your music. We were wondering if you have any shows coming up; or if you even do anything of that nature?

  17. Hania says:

I haven’t as I’m rather shy… but I’m meaning to get into it :D Glad you like my music!

  18. Joel Gerlach says:

    Hello Hania!

My name is Joel Gerlach, I’m a filmmaker and visual effects artist in Tennessee, USA. Tarboy has long been one of my favorites, and just for ‘giggles’ I went back to watch it just now and remembered how much I loved the music. Bringing me to your site reminded me again… how much I love the music!

So here’s the thought. I’ve been working on my no-budget scifi film for two semesters now. I’m about to graduate this december with my degree in visual effects, and my short film (entitled “Probe” or possibly “From the Sky”) is lacking a music composer. I had a guy who was going to do it, but he bailed. Seeing as this film needs to be music driven, I was at a bit of a loss. Coming here, now, reminded me of your music.

I’d like to ask you if you would consider composing music for this short film. It runs ten minutes long. I’d love to compensate you as much as I could, though of course being no-budget, it’ll all come out of my pocket/out of proceeds from the film. It’ll be entered into film contests with hopes that it’ll help get me into the industry where I long to be, in addition to seeking out awards.

To be blunt, the film will drag and be boring without an engaging soundtrack. The way you work with style and melody to create emotion is what I’m looking for.

So, could you take a minute to check out the film, and see if this is something you’d be interested in?

The blogsite is here (a little outdated as these things tend to be) http://www.probefilm.wordpress.com

Thanks for the time to read my lengthy writings. ;-)

    Cheers!

I first saw Tarboy at the ACMI in Melbourne as part of an animation festival a couple of years ago and loved it. It was a pleasant surprise to then find you involved with an altogether different and unrelated project that I also really enjoyed. Keep up the great work. :)

  20. Camberwell says:

    Hi Hania!
I’m a french fan of you and your music. :D
I discover you thanks to the third “alice is dead”, and you’re rose from “the girl who sings well” to “the greatest singer of all time” in a couple of day. Alice is dead inspired a friend and me some songs (one’s finished, two others (maybe more) provided) about Wonderland and its inhabitants. We would be really glad to offer you some of them, (maybe in order to make a third album?). If you’re interesting, please contact us:

  21. Mohamed Sami says:

Hania … i loved your vocal performances, and your Tarboy music is absolutley stunning ….. I don’t know why it hit me that it would be amazing if you sang “How soon is now” … please let me know if one day my wish came true, so i listen to it, i would recommend that you listen to all who tried to sing it, so you get an idea of all the attampts (the good and the bad).
btw: Your name has a meaning in Arabic, Is it an English name?

  22. Hania says:

    It’s Polish. :)

  23. I discovered your music on Newgrounds and was blown away. I’m disappointed that with your skill and talent you aren’t better known so I’m trying to get people to hear about you here in the US. We need more artists like you. Your music is incredibly haunting.
